Love Island bombshell Georgia Townsend has returned to work after her villa appearance this year.

After failing to be picked by Hugo Hammond in a July recoupling, Georgia was booted out of the competition just a few days into her stay.

Now, posting on Twitter this week, the marketing executive offered her followers an update from her job at Lidl.

“The HBIC [Head Bitch in Charge] has returned,” she wrote. “Yes I work for @lidlgb and yes that’s likely a contributing factor as to why my time in the villa was so short.

“It’s been instilled into me my entire career that checkouts should be as speedy as possible.”

We like what you did there, Georgia…

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old previously had this to say about her premature departure from Love Island: “It was really tricky to go in and only have the one person I was interested in. When that didn’t pay off, I knew I was up shit creek without a paddle.

“They were all lovely boys but I know what I’m looking for and none of them are it. A lot of the couples in there, they’re the right pair for one another, so I would have felt awful, selfish and really unkind if I’d ripped a couple apart if I wasn’t wholly invested.”

Also addressing her arrival alongside Tyler Cruickshank and Abigail Rawlings, she added: “It was nice to go in as a little ‘ménage à trois’ with Tyler and Abigail. Tyler was my sounding board in there.”

In case you somehow missed it, Millie Court and Liam Reardon were crowned the 2021 champions.

Love Island airs on ITV2 and is available via catch up on ITV Hub and BritBox.
